The Federal Motor Carrier Safety
Administration (FMCSA), In a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM)
titled "Minimum Training Requirements for Longer Combination
Vehicle (LCV) Operators and Requirements for LCV Driver
Instructors," is proposing standards for minimum training
requirements for the operators of LCVs. The reporting and
recordkeeping requirements being proposed would impose a new
information collection burden.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
