The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), In a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) titled "Minimum Training Requirements for Longer Combination Vehicle (LCV) Operators and Requirements for LCV Driver Instructors," is proposing standards for minimum training requirements for the operators of LCVs. The reporting and recordkeeping requirements being proposed would impose a new information collection burden.
