Abstract: NIST is investigating the technical reasons for the collapse of World Trade Center 1, 2, and 7, why the number of injuries was so high or low, depending on location, identifying the procedures and practices used in the World Trade Center, and reviewing building codes. Occupants and persons with responsibilities inside the buildings will be interviewed by telephone.
