Abstract: This is a request for a no change extension of procedures by which the public may request ATSDR to conduct public health assessments (PHA) currently approved under this OMB information collection authority. According to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), ATSDR is authorized to perform public health assessments for releases or facilities where individual persons or licensed physicians provide information that individuals have been exposed to a hazardous substance, for which the probable source of such exposure is a release, as defined under CERCLA.
