The goal of this study is an analysis
assessment of NIH minority trainee educational and career outcomes
as part of an effort to increase the number of minority scientists
in accordance with Public Law 106-525. Interviews of trainees and
training program administrators at recipient institutions are
needed to supplement information in NIH databases. These interviews
will provide qualitative information on the research training
experience of individual trainees.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
