Abstract: Proposed Rule 17i-2 would require that an investment bank holding company that elects to be supervised by the Commission as a supervised investment bank holding company file a notice of intention with the Commission that contains certain information and documents. In addition, proposed Rule 17i-2 would require that an investment bank holding company or a supervised invest- ment bank holding company update its notice of intention upon the occurrence of certain, specified events.
