Abstract: MMS uses the information to determin if the applicant filing for a lease in the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) is qualified to hold such a lease, to verify qualification of bidders and eligibility of joint bidders, and to verify lesses have adequate bonding coverage. Respondents are Federal OCS sulphur or oil and gas lesses and bidders on OCS lease sales.
