In EL04-52-000, FERC is proposing a
one-time data request to require all entities that own, control or
operate transmission lines with a rating of 230 kV or higher as
well as tie-line interconnect facilities between control areas and
critical lines in the lower 48 states to report on the vegetation
management practies they now use for those lines and
rights-of-ways. This report is to be submitted by June 14 to FERC,
the appropriate State commission(s), the North American Electric
Reliability Council (NERC) and the relevant reliability
coordinators.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
