In EL04-52-000, FERC is proposing a one-time data request to require all entities that own, control or operate transmission lines with a rating of 230 kV or higher as well as tie-line interconnect facilities between control areas and critical lines in the lower 48 states to report on the vegetation management practies they now use for those lines and rights-of-ways. This report is to be submitted by June 14 to FERC, the appropriate State commission(s), the North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) and the relevant reliability coordinators.
