Abstract: SSA uses the Internet Direct Deposit Application to obtain enrillment information from beneficiaries who are interested in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT) of their benefits. The information collected by this Internet application is used to facilitate DD/EFT of their Social Security benefits to a financial institutin. The respondents are Social Security beneficiaries who use the Internet to enroll in DD/EFT.
