Abstract: A requirement for entitlement for mother's or father's benefits or as a spouse who is under age 62 and isa mother or father, is that the spuse, mother or father must have in his/her care an entitled child of the number holder who is under age 16 or disabled. SSA uses the informaiton collected on form SSA-781 to decide if a non-custodial claimant, who is filing for spouse's or mother's/father's benefits based on having a child in-care meets the in-care requirements.
