Abstract: 12 C.F.R. Part 559 requires a savings association proposing to establsih or acquire an operating subsidiary or conduct new activities in an existing operating subsidiary to either notify OTS or obtain the prior approval of OTS. The regulation also require a savings association to create and maintain certain documents.
