The Transportation Security
Administration is proposing to collect a limited number of
historical passenger name records (PNRs) from U.S. aircraft
operators in order to test the efficacy of the Secure Flight
Program. The collection would cover PNRs for certain domestic
flight segments completed in the month of June 2004. The collection
would not cover PNRs with flight segments occuring after June 30,
2004, or any international flight segments within PNRs.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
