Abstract: 10 CFR 39 establishes radiation safety requirements for the use of radioactive material in well logging operations. The informa- tion in the application, reports and records is used by the NRC to ensure protection of the public health and safety and that license possession and use of source and byproduct material is in compliance with license and regulatory requirements.
