Abstract: Executive Orders 10450 and 12968 require background investigations be conducted on all persons entering the Federal service at the appropriate position sensitivity level. This includes all private sector individuals working on Federal contracts in any capacity. Some types of investigations require periodic reinvestigation within certain time frames. All these forms are used to collect the information from the individuals to begin the investigation process.
