This study has three main goals: 1) To
describe the degree of access that typical, rural, Southern country
residents have to HIV-related services (defined as both testing and
treatment); 2) To identify some of the factors that may impede or
facilitate access to HIV-related services in these counties; and,
3) To identify dedicated providers currently serving their
populations using innovative strategies due to limited resources.
The methodology will include hiring a contractor (Univ. of Miami)
to perform mail and telephone surveys of 325 rural/small-city
