The approved information collection request uses the phone survey
methodology. DHS will revise the package within six (6) months of
the date of approval to include a methodology for mail surveys,
that will be used for at least one of the sites. The 60-day Federal
Register notice for that revised package will be waived.

Consistent with performance
measurement requirements set forth by the Government Performance
Results Act, the Chemical Stockpile Preparedness Program (CSEPP)
will continue collecting data from state, local and tribal
governments, individuals and business residing in immediate or
surrounding areas of eight chemical stockpile sites. The study
will: assess outreach program effectiveness, measure/monitor
customer satisfaction, and identify weaknesses and strengths of
individual sites.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
