This collection
is approved for one year only. The previous terms of clearance for
this collection required ED to draft guidance to implement OMB's
standards for data on race and ethnicity, to submit this guidance
to OMB for approval, and to reflect these changes in the collection
of race and ethnicity data in this ICR. This collection does not
currently meet OMB standards for the collection of data on race and
ethnicity. ED is directed to submit to OMB its plans to bring this
and its other collections into conformance with OMB standards for
data on race and ethnicity before the next submission of this ICR
to OMB for approval.
