Pursuant to the Communications Act of
1934, as amended, telecommunications carriers (and certain other
providers of telecommunications services) must contribute to the
support and cost recovery mechanisms for telecommunications relay
services, numbering administration, number portability, and
universal service. The Commission is now seeking to collect
information concerning carriers' uncollectible revenue information
consistent with Part 54 of its rules, as revised in the interim
contribution methodology order of Dec 2002.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
