The Federal Acquisition Regulation
requires that the successful offeror responding to a contract
solicitation provide information as to its forecast of hellium
required for the performance of the contract. Promptly upon award
of any subcontract or order that involves a major hellium
requirement, the contractor shall provde to the Bureau of Mines,
and to the contracting officer, written notification that includes
the prime contract number, address and telephone number of the
subcontractor, including a point of contact, and a copy of the
subcontractor's hellium.
