The national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants (NESHAP) were proposed on August 4, 1998, promulgated on May 20, 1999, and amended most recently on March 22, 2001. This regula- tion establishes monitoring, recordkeeping and reporting to en- sure a source initial and continuous compliance with the stan- dards.
