Abstract: On December 14, 2001, the Commission released a Report and Order, "Review of Commission Consideration of Applications Under the Cable Landing License Act," IB Docket No. 00-106, FCC 01-332. In this Report and Order, the Commission adopted rules to streamline the submarine cable landing license process and to promote competition in that market.
