Abstract: When the IRS issued its final regulations implementing section 6050M of the Tax Reform Act of 1986 (Pub. L. 99-514), the reporting requirements included the requirement to report certain modifications to contracts that were awarded before January 1, 1989, necessitating a revision to Subpart 4.9 of the FAR.
