Abstract: The Foreign Trade Zones Act and Regulations require an applica- tion from a firm or organization that applies for foreign-trade zone )FTZ) status, for subzone status, or for expansion of an existing zone. Applications must contain detailed information on facilities, financing, operational plans, proposed manufacturing operations, need, and economic impact. The FTZ Board needs complete and accurate information because the Board is required to make public interest determinations on FTZ proposals.
