Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved for three years. EPA shall not deviate from the approved surveys/questionnaires, and the Agency shall report annually to OMB on the actual use of the approved surveys and questionnaires. Because particular surveys/questionnaires will be used, without modification, to obtain feedback from participants in EPA public involvement activities, this ICR is not considered a "generic" ICR. EPA shall not use the approved surveys/questionnaires for the purpose of regulatory development or enforcement. When EPA submits its annual report to OMB on the actual use of the approved surveys/questionnaires, the Agency shall also, if appropriate, submit a change worksheet in order to more accurately reflect the burden associated with this collection.

Abstract: EPA plans to conduct public involvement surveys using feedback questionnaires. Participants in EPA public involvement activities will be asked to complete questionnaires immediately following public meetings, public hearings, small group meetings/workshops, listening sessions, Community Advisory Group sessions, Federal Advisory Committee Act advisory group meetings, and stakeholder negotiation events. Participants in long term activities will be asked to complete questionnaires about the processes in which they participated.
