Terms of Clearance: This approval is associated with the final rule published under RIN 0648-AS47. The agency is instructed to conduct a focused outreach campaign prior to submission of a request for extension for this ICR to validate burden estimates and elicit suggestions from the regulated community for reducing the burden of this program. The results of this campaign must be summarized in the submission.

Abstract: This data collection requires persons harvesting or processing crab managed under the CR Program to submit information on all retained crab catch so that it may be debited from the appropriate IFQ, IPQ, CDQ, or Adak account to ensure that quotas are not exceeded. Additionally, each eligible crab community organization must submit a complete annual report on its CR crab activity for the prior crab fishing year for each eligible crab community it represents.
