Abstract: EPA is seeking emergency permission to collect applications from refiners, importers and independent laboratories in order to permit them to qualify performance-based test methods for diesel fuel. Industry supports the performance-based approach. Unfor- tunately, these provisions were erroneously omitted from EPA ICR No. 1718.06 for diesel fuel.
