Abstract: The information collected assists both HUD and State Agency's in locating manufactured homes with defects requiring notification and/or correction by the manufacturer. Also, manufacturers are required to provide certain information to consumers related to operational, testing, and maintenance issues for smoke detecors, gas connections, exchaust ducts, etc.
