Abstract: The Volunteer Supplement will provide information on the total number of individuals in the U.S. involved in unpaid volunteer activities, measures of the frequency or intensity with which individuals volunteer, types of organizations that facilitate volunteerism, activities in which volunteers participate, the prevalence of going abroad to do volunteer work, and reasons why former volunteers no longer do volunteer work.
