Abstract: South Atlantic penaeid shrimp vessels must obtain Federal permits under rulemaking implementing Amendment 6 to the Fishery Management Plan of the South Atlantic Region. NOAA needs information from the applications to identify fishing vessels/ participants, to properly manage the fisheries, and to generate fishery-specific data for the South Atlantic penaeid shrimp fishery under the Southeast Region Permit Family of Forms.
