The information collected by these proposed regulations will be used by SSA to determine entitlement and/or eligibility to disability insurance benefits and/or supplemental security income and to enable appeals of these determinations. Most of the information will be collected using OMB-approved forms that the public already uses to report information. The respondents are claimants for disability under titles II and XVI, State Disability Determination Services and sources of evidence used in the disability determination process.
