Abstract: The surveys are necessary to comply with provisions of 5 U.S.C. 5941, E.O. 10000, and related regulations. The data are used to determine cost-of-living allowances for certain Federal employees in nonforeign areas. Selected businesses and State and local governments will be surveyed.
