Abstract: The Locate Request Attestation in the proposed #302.35(c)(3) is the information collection requirement, which is proposed to ensure that only authorized persons obtain information from the Federal PLS. The State IV-D agency would be required to obtain an attestation from each resident parent, legal guardian, attorney or agent of a child not receiving aid under title IV-A who requests information from the Federal PLS.
