SSA shall examine public comment in response to the NPRM and will describe in the preamble of the final rule how the agency has maximized the practical utility of the collection and minimized the burden. For any future submissions of this information collection, SSA shall indicate the subsmission as "new" and reference OMB control number 0960-0714 (see OMB Form 83-I, items 1 and 2).

Abstract: These regulations require representatives payees for recipients of SSA benefits to notify SSA of: 1) any event or change in the beneficiary's circumstance which would impact the benificiary's benefit and 2) any change in the representative payee's circumstances which would impact their ability to fulfill their payee representative duties. Administratrative procedures for penalizing false or misleading reports described. The regulations are being revised due to the Social Security Protection Act. The respondents are representative payees for SSA.
