Abstract: This information collection is pursuant to 35 USC 209 and 37 CFT Part 404. The details of an application for a patent license are specified in 37 CFR 404.8. The provided information will enable the agency to determine if it will grant the applicant a license and on what terms. The annual utilization report in 37 CFR 404.5(b)(6) is to allow the agency to determine if the licensee is fulfilling its development or marketing plan and if the submitted royalty payments are accurate. Any deficiency may result in a termination of the license.
