Abstract: SBA is piloting a one-year program specifically targeted to the Presidentially-declared counties and parishes as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The pilot is using the slightly modified SBA Express forms and processes. SBA Express Lenders use primarily their own loan forms, submitting minimal information to SBA. SBA requires the information requested to assist the agency in carrying out its lender, portfollo and program oversight responsibilities. The information will also facilitate risk management.
