The Branding Strategy and Marking Plan are part of USAID's marking requirements. They are submitted at the request of a USAID Agreement Officer after technical evaluation of grants applications, and only by applicants who have been recommended for award. The Branding Strategy and Marking Plan describe how the USAID funded program is named and positioned, including using the USAID Identity as part of the title, as well as how the program will be promoted and communicated to its beneficiaries and the wider audience of host country citizens, and details what items will be marked with the USAID Identity.
