Abstract: States choosing to take advantage of proposed new flexibility to development and implement assessments measuring modified achievement standards for use by students with disabilities who do not meet State guidelines to participate in an alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards must report on the number of students with disabilities who are assessed based on modified achievement standards.
