collection, USDA should report any changes made in response to the
2006 PART evaluation. In supporting its request for an extension,
USDA should use quantifiable data to support the claim that the
information collected is useful. In addition, the agency should
investigate and report on sampling techniques that could replace
the current practice of calling each respondent for daily price
information.

reports are authorized by Law U.S.C. 1621 to collect and diseminate
marketing information on an area basis. Data is used by the Fruit
and Vegetable trade as guides in making marketing decisions.
Respondents are firms that buy, sell, store, or produce fruit and
vegetable products.
