Abstract: 47 CFR Section 74,784 requires licensees of low power television and TV translator stations to notify the FCC when rebroadcasting programs or signals or another station and to certify that written consent has been obtained from originating station. The FCC staff use the data to ensure compliance with Section 325(a) of the Communications Act, as amended. 47 CFR Section 74.1284 requires that the licensee of a FM translator station obtain prior consent to rebroadcast programs of any FM broadcast station or other FM translator.
