The purpose of this evaluation project
is to identify and characterize the effectiveness of the SAIFE
program in improving knowledge about and adherence to fire safety
principles. This will be done through process and outcome
evaluations geared toward charaterizing this means of delivery of
the intervention and any effect it may have on outcomes. This data
collection will determine the degree in which the SAIFE program
improves knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and practices about fire and
burn safety.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
