Abstract: The section 316(b) final regulations for Phase III facilities requires the collection of information from new offshore oil and gas extraction facilities which use a cooling water intake structure(s) that uses at lease 25 percent of its withdraws for cooling purposes, and have design intake flows greater than 2 MGD.
