Spring Viremia of carp disease (SVC)
is a foreign animal disease and is recognized as a notifiable
disease by the World Organization for Animal Health. SVC is caused
by a rhabdovirus and is highly contagious under certain temperature
and age- related conditions. Infection causes variable mortability
principally in species of carp, but may cause lower mortality with
a higher percentage of clinically in apparent carriers that can
shed the virus.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
