The information collection burden
resulting from the promulgation of the GWR, in the first 3 years
after promulgation, involves: State and Public Water System (PWS)
start-up activities for santary surveys, compliance monitoring,
hydrogeologic sensitivity assessments, and microbial monitoring.
States will be involved in the following activities to help meet
primacy requirements: regulation adoption, program development,
modify data management systems, initial laboratory certification
and training, staff training, water system training and technical
assistance. PWS are expected to perform the following start-up
activities:.......
