Abstract: The 2007 CFS provides a crucial, unique set of transportation statistics. Results will show origin-destination flows of commodities with key characteristics of mode, value, weight, ton-miles and average miles per shipment. These data are needed by transportation decision makers at the Federal and local levels to analyze, maintain, and improve the transportation infrastructure.
