the questionnaire for implementation into the full NHANES study we
look forward to meeting with NHANES and ERS to understand the
extent to which other questionnaires regarding food consumer
behavior are planned for implementation throughout the federal
government.

The National Health and Nutrition
Examination Surveys (NHANES) were conducted on a periodic basis
from 1971 to 1994. NHANES became a continuous, annual survey
program in 1999. Each year, a nationally representative sample of
the civilian, non-institutionalized U.S. population, all ages, is
interviewed and examined. NHANES data are released in two year
cycles. Data from NHANES 1999-2000 and NHANES 2001-2002 have been
released at various times over the past few years and are posted on
the NHANES website. The continuous data collection requires that
pilot tests of new or revised survey material....

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
