ED needs these data to determine 1) the extent to which CCAMPIS grantees are better able than similar postsecondary institutions to provide child care services to low-income students; 2) if data are available to determine if these services improve these students' persistence and graduation rates. Data collected from child care directors at grantee and non-grantee institutions will be used to monitor and improve the CCAMPIS program.
