In order to allow determination of the
study areas that are entitled to an expense adjustment, and the
wire centers that are entitled to high-cost universal service
support, each incumbent local exchange carrer must provide certain
data to the National Exchange Carrier Association annually and/or
quarterly. Local telphone companies who want to partipate in the
Federal universal service support program must make certain
informational showings to demonstrate eligibility.
The Commission is reporting a
+959 burden hour increase due to an increase in the number of
responses. Therefore, the total annual burden hours have increased
to 58,418 hours. There are no changes to the reporting and third
party disclosure requirements.
