In order to fulfill the Federal
Reserves obligations under Section 214(e) of the Fair and Accurate
Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACT Act). Section 214(e) requires
the Federal Reserve and five other agencies to jointly study the
consumer information sharing practices by financial institutions,
and other persons that are creditors or users of consumer reports,
with their affiliates.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
