The effective implementation of NPIP
necessitates the use of information collection activities from
meat-type chicken slaughter plants, turkey slaughter plants, and
table-egg producers who choose to participate in this voluntary
plan. This will require the completion of necessary forms when
submitting samples from flock monitoring to authorized
laboratories. In additions, they would be required to maintain
records.
