Re: Responses to public comments on CMS-10185, 2007 Part D Reporting Requirements

In response to the Federal Register posting of document CMS-10185 2007 Part D Reporting Requirements on September 22, 2006, we received three public comments by the October 22, 2006 deadline.

The comments may be tabulated as follows:

• 1 comment to Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committee reporting requirements

• 1 comment to Call center reporting requirements

• 1 comment to Licensure & Solvency, Business Transactions, and Financial Requirements reporting requirements

Please see the attached document, Responses_2007 Part D Reporting Requirements_112006.doc, which provides a summary of comments and our responses. Additionally, please see the attached document, Final 2007 Medicare Part D Reporting Requirements_revised112006.doc, which reflects two changes made as a result of the P&T and Call center comments received. Both changes will provide additional reporting flexibility for Part D contracts, and will not impact the number of hours associated with this data collection.
