Abstract: Approval is sought for an extension for a follow-up survey conducted, and nearly completed, as part of Project GATE. Project GATE is a demonstration program designed to assist individuals interested in self-employment to develop their businesses. To determine whether the program should be replicated on a larger scale, an evaluation has been conducted and is in its final stage, with one additional survey of 400 individuals to be completed early in 2007.
