Approval is sought for an extension
for a follow-up survey conducted, and nearly completed, as part of
Project GATE. Project GATE is a demonstration program designed to
assist individuals interested in self-employment to develop their
businesses. To determine whether the program should be replicated
on a larger scale, an evaluation has been conducted and is in its
final stage, with one additional survey of 400 individuals to be
completed early in 2007.
The reduction in burden is due
to the fact that this survey is nearly completed and one final
telephone survey of only 400 people remains. This will occur early
in 2007.
